Well then, hello, fellow art lover!
I am Hannah VanDuinen, artist and owner of this little art business called Birds & Blossoms. As it so happens, I am OBSESSED with creating those finishing touches. I’ve always said a house doesn’t feel like home until art is on the walls and books are in their shelves!
As a woman with ADHD, I love chasing something new, which means you benefit from my many projects and experiments. You’ll find wall art, tea towels, greeting cards, stickers, and more in my shop. I’ve also designed a helpful little weekly planner that you can download after signing up for my newsletter, which comes out monthly.
My Story
I officially launched Birds & Blossoms (originally called VanDuinen Studio, LLC) in the summer of 2020.
Yes, THAT 2020.
Yes, I might be crazy.
But! I had just become a stay at home mom of two in 2019, and that whole pandemic situation really gave me a lot of time to think about what I valued and wanted out of life. Now that I have these two wild, wonderful daughters, it is important to me that I have a flexible schedule so I can be there for them every step of the way.
On the flip side, it is also important for me to carve out something that is mine! I need an intellectual problem to solve, a creative outlet, a source of income that isn’t tied to a 9-5 schedule. Birds & Blossoms gives me that freedom and that focus, and I’ve never felt more passionate about a job in my entire life.
So what can I do for you?
Whether you are an art collector (like me!) or an art director or somewhere in between, I’ve got something for you. (Like I said, lots of projects…)
Private art collectors:
- My shop on Square is live, new items will be added periodically
- News from the Nest goes out monthly and keeps you apprised of all gallery showings, craft shows, shop updates, etc.
- Contact me directly if you have any custom art requests. I specialize in wedding bouquet portraits, but I am always open to other ideas.
Art Directors/Gallery owners:
